It may sound like a long way off but the 2025/2026 season for Antarctica is open for bookings and already selling steadily. Destinations like Antarctica are not usually a spur-of-the-moment purchase. People spend considerable time, often years, planning for an Antarctic cruise so the smaller ships often fill up well in advance.
We have a number of cruises and cruise lines available either exploring Antarctica by itself or combining it with South Georgia and/or the Falkland Islands. Ponant, Silversea, Hurtigruten, Atlas Ocean Voyages, Aurora Expeditions, Quark Expeditions and more all offer Antarctic programmes of varying lengths and inclusions. Some cruise lines offer more luxury than others, some offer a fly in option to the Antarctic Peninsula to avoid the dreaded Drake Passage, some offer Citizen Science progammes and others offer unique experiences such as sleeping on the ice for a night.
The first step in planning your visit to Antarctica is to have a chat with one of our consultants to start narrowing down the options. Let us know what you are hoping to see and do, which aspects are most important to you and what type of cruising you prefer and we’ll come up with some options for you. We can include airfares, pre or post cruise accommodation, land touring or just a cruise only package.
If you’re also starting to think of an Antarctic cruise but perhaps not for 2025-2026, give us a call anyway to start the planning process. That way you’ll be ready to book and take advantage of the offers as soon as the 2026/2027 programmes come out.
