Now that people are back travelling again, we’re seeing a trend of people taking longer holidays than they did previously. More people are extending their stay and perhaps adding on a second cruise or another travel component rather than heading straight home. When you are already halfway across the world, it makes sense to maximise your experience rather than trying to come back again at a later date.
For example, people heading to The Kimberley may cruise from Broome to Darwin then join The Ghan for a rail trip through the Red Centre. An Artic cruise through Norway may be followed by a one-way cruise via Iceland back to the UK. A Mediterranean cruise may precede a rail tour on the Venice-Simplon Orient Express. An Alaskan voyage may be paired with a Rocky Mountaineer tour through the Rocky Mountains.
If you’re cruising New Zealand, you may like to consider adding Sub-Antarctic cruise as well. If you’re planning a European sojourn, there are multiple options of combining Mediterranean cruises with river cruises, rail trips or coach tours. In Tahiti, you can combine a cruise around the islands with a few days at one of the islands you didn’t visit on the cruise itinerary.
The options are endless and we are here to give you some suggestions and then work out how it can all fit together. Feel free to give our consultants a call and have a chat.
