Step aboard in Papeete ready for 15 idyllic days cruising the South Pacific Islands.  Explore magical Moorea, tantalising Taha’a and beautiful Bora Bora for a sweet taste of some of Tahiti’s spectacular islands where you can swim, snorkel, swim with the rays, visit vanilla plantations and spend a decadent day on a private motu. 

Then marvel at the perfect turquoise lagoons and white sand beaches as you call into Aitutkai in the Cook Islands.  Most visitors to the Cook Islands stay in Rarotonga, but those who have venture out to Aitutaki will tell you it is impossibly beautiful and the highlight of a Cook Island visit.  There’s a reason why Aitutaki is a favourite spot for honeymooners – it doesn’t get much more romantic than this!

You’ll enjoy a luxurious couple of days at sea before arriving in Vava’u in Tonga.  You may choose to do snorkel amongst the colourful coral gardens or perhaps take part in a cultural tour or simply explore the markets, historical churches and beaches at your leisure. 

Another day at sea and then you’ll arrive in Savusavu, Fiji where tropical rainforest, waterfalls, lush vegetation and hospitable local people await.  Take part in a traditional kava ceremony, visit a local village, take a snorkelling tour or simply lap up the Fijian warmth.

The last two days of your voyage are spent visiting Suva, the capital of Fiji, and Beqa Island, home of the firewalkers.

Our suggestions for this voyage:  Arrive in Papeete a couple of days early to either explore the island or spend a few days out at Moorea before the cruise starts.  There’s a lot to see in Moorea and it is only a ferry ride from Papeete so spending a few days here before joining your cruise will have you relaxing Tahitian-style in no time.

At the end of your cruise, perhaps join a Blue Lagoon Cruises or Captain Cook cruise up to the Yasawa Islands, or head out to one of Fiji’s beautiful islands for a few extra days of R&R.  Alternatively, add a couple of extra days on to relax at one of the Denarau resorts before heading home.
