Formed in 1990, The Ultimate Travel Group first began trading as Fastbook Holidays. In 2006, we sold our Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island businesses in order to focus on small ship cruising in the Australia and New Zealand markets. Since then, the company has been successfully operating as Ultimate Cruising and Ultimate Travel in Australia, and Ultimate Cruising and Ultimate Tahiti in New Zealand.
We live and breathe cruising! In particular, we love luxury small ship exploration cruising and we’ve made it our business to be the experts in this field. We’ve been operating for more than 30 years, making holiday dreams come true for hundreds of people. Our team of consultants are highly experienced, with excellent product knowledge and love to create fantastic holiday packages specifically suited to their client. In some ways, we’re a little old-fashioned - we don’t have a call centre and you are not expected to book online. You won’t receive a recorded message when you call us. Instead, you’ll speak to a real person who is there to help, guide and to answer any questions. We can book your cruise, flights, sightseeing, accommodation and transfers for you. Personal service is our top priority.
We have excellent business relationships with select cruise lines, allowing us to create unique packages with special value-add components that you can’t get anywhere else. For example, our chauffeur driven luxury car transfers that will collect you from your home and take you to the airport, on-board cruise credits, pre/post accommodation or Air credits to go towards your flights.

Specialising in mesmerising Tahiti, Ultimate Tahiti offers both cruise and land-only holidays in French Polynesia for New Zealanders travelling to these beautiful islands. Our expertise in the myriad islands that make up the five archipelagos of this breath-taking destination, make holidaying in Tahiti truly memorable. Please be aware that we derive our income from a combination of commission payments from suppliers and service fees.
