Our Ultimate Cruising Escorted Tour to The Marquesas aboard the Aranui 5 is underway as we speak! A group of 20 departed on the 24th of August bound for Papeete. The first few days saw the group getting to know each other with time spent exploring Tahiti and Moorea before boarding Aranui 5 for the 11 night cruise to The Marquesas.
They are now cruising between islands en route to the remote and beautiful Marquesas Islands where they’ll meet the local people, visit villages and archaeological sites, explore beaches and lagoons, marvel at the dramatic landscape of mountains, plunging ravines and beautiful waterfalls, learn about the culture, enjoy traditional dance performances and so much more. They will also be able to experience a working freighter in action as the Aranui 5 delivers goods to the islands, unloading and loading supplies in each port.
