Cruise Alaska’s stunning Inside Passage to discover the wonders of the American north-west coast on Oceania Cruises’ intimate and luxurious, “Regatta”. Renowned for The Finest Cuisine at Sea™, destination-rich itineraries and a relaxed- casual ambience, Oceania Cruises treats her guests to superb onboard dining experiences, exceptional personalised service and spectacular scenery.

Your 10 day voyage departs from Seattle, Washington, cruising the renowned Inside Passage  Rich in history from the Klondike Goldrush days when the Passage saw hopeful American prospectors heading northward, the Inside Passage gives cruisers their first glimpse of the wonders of Alaska.  This is a seriously spectacular area filled with islands, fjords and wildlife.  You may spot your first whale or bald eagle!

You’ll stop at Wrangell, once a Tlingit stronghold, then a Russian outpost and finally an American settlement, where you’ll have the opportunity to see a preserved tribal house on Chief Shakes Island.

Continuing north your next port of call is the state capital of Juneau.  Only accessible by sea or air, Juneau is home to bears, whales, bald eagles, seals, orcas, porcupines and more.  This is a great spot for wildlife viewing!

Next, you’ll be able to discover Skagway, with its preserved gold-rush-era buildings.  You might like to take a ride on the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad and see the trail the gold rushers etched into the high mountain pass.  Alternatively you can take a walking tour around the town, visit Moore House built in 1897 or head to the museum.

Back on the ship, it’s onwards to discover Hubbard Glacier, named after Gardiner Hubbard.  Listen for the pistol-like crack that signals the glacier is calving and ready your camera for some spectacular pictures!

Just when you thought you’ve seen all there is, Sitka beckons.  Tucked between mountains and sea, Sitka’s clean air and laid-back lifestyle will charm your heart.  Discover local art, Tlingit, Russian and American culture, totem-lined trails, abundant wildlife and adventure galore!

Your next stop is Ketchikan, known for salmon, idyllic scenery and rich Alaska Native culture.  Saxman Village and Totem Bight State Park are the best places to see totem poles!

On the way back to Vancouver, you’ll sail the Outside Passage with opportunities to (hopefully!) whale watch along the way.

In any case, you’ll be cruising in comfort!  Superior service and beautifully prepared gourmet cuisine, not to mention spacious, luxuriously-appointed staterooms all await!  With just 684 guests, Oceania Cruises’ “Regatta” is big enough to offer services such as a Wellness Centre, Spa and more, but small enough to get into those places the larger ships can’t.  You’ll also enjoy a choice of O-Life Bonuses (see below).

This is an experience you don’t want to miss!
