The Aranui You Love But With A Different Destination

The Aranui You Love But With A Different Destination

Calling all past-passengers who loved the Aranui! Also calling anyone who has looked into sailing on the Aranui 5 but hasn’t yet decided or who love the idea of sailing on the Aranui 5 but would prefer a different destination. We’ve got two new itineraries … check them out!

Society and Tuamotu Islands – May 2021

Yes, we are talking all the favourite Tahitian islands … Rangiroa, Fakarava, Makatea, Raiatea, Taha’a, Maupiti, Bora Bora, Huahine and Moorea. It just doesn’t get any better than this! You’ll see Tahiti’s most beautiful, postcard-perfect islands and you’ll discover that each is different from the last. If you’re wanting to really experience the essence of Tahiti, this itinerary is it!

Eleven nights on board with a local crew, down-to-earth entertainment and an environment where you can relax, not dress up and enjoy good company.

(Note: The Aranui won’t be carrying freight on this voyage).

This itinerary is already booking well so don’t delay in securing your place, especially if you would like a balcony (and why wouldn’t you with these incredible views!).

Austral/Cook Islands – September 2021

If you’ve been there, done that with Tahiti but you also love the Aranui 5, have a look at this wee gem. Beginning in Papeete, you’ll set sail for the beautiful Cook Islands but not just Rarotonga. You’ll also get to see what the fuss is about with Aitutaki (think clear, turquoise waters, fine white sand … a honeymooner’s paradise!). Then you’ll head back to French Polynesia to the simply gorgeous Austral Islands, somewhere most people never see. Rurutu, Rapa, Raivavae and Ana’a… they’re all included and waiting for you to discover. They’re the southern-most group in French Polynesia , 600km south of Papeete. If you loved the Marquesas, you’ll love the Austral Islands too! Raw nature combined with friendly communities, breathtaking landscapes, authentic culture, ancient burial sites and more. During August to October the humpback whales arrive to mate and give birth in the incredibly clear waters so keep your eyes peeled!

(Note: The Aranui won’t be carrying freight on this voyage).

As you can imagine, this voyage will also book up very quickly. In fact, at the time of writing there are already 80 people booked on this voyage (maximum 254) two years out! There is only one voyage like this in 2021 so make sure you don’t miss out!

The Aranui 5

Custom-built for sailing the Tahitian waters, the Aranui 5 combines work with play. Transporting freight to the outer, remote islands, the Aranui 5 also offers guest accommodations and facilities within its capacity of a working freighter. It’s a relaxed atmosphere on board – there’s no call for a tuxedo. It’s all about enjoying the destination, meeting new people, relaxing and discovering somewhere new.

With just 103 cabins, the Aranui 5 takes around 254 passengers, with 8 different guest decks with one restaurant (2 seatings), two lounges, four bars, two conference rooms, a pool, boutique, massage room and gym.
